    Miracle.

This, my dear friends, is a miracle. No less, and much more.

    The story goes as such,
Many months ago, whilst the Sembawang Interchange was still amidst its flurry of construction, we chanced upon this newly-cemented pavement at the front of the interchange.
Being the children that we are, we left our initials, with a heart encircling it, in the wet-cement. We re-visited the spot a couple of days later, only to find that the entire pavement was re-smoothened out, with absolutely no sign left of our markings.

    And then! Aha!
On Saturday (29 APRIL 06), we once again chanced upon that particular concrete pavement, and the following was what we saw.

Stupefying? You bet! Magically Magical? You bet!
Somehow, our drawing miraculously surfaced out of the pavement.

I cannot explain it, for it is impossible for markings that were smoothened away to re-appear, yes? Well, apparently not in our case!

Imagine yourself scrawling your name in the sand, and watched it being washed away by the tide. And the next day upon your return, you see the exact same scrawling there. Untouched, unblemished.

Tell me if it is not a miracle!

It is set in stone. It is us.
