    Over-haul.

The Prestige: I need an over-haul and a need a clean-up. Do bear in mind that a significant portion of your tone originates from me!
Philmon: Alright! Now hush, you are hissing way too much.

Okay, I am going to replace the amp's 2-pin plug with a 3-pin, so that the stray charges will be grounded instead of coming out through the amplifier as those hideous hisses. Snip!

Next up, AUTOSOL! It's time to shine things up. I had better tape the fingerboard up. I am aware that tape will suck the moisture out of the wood, I will use the wood conditioner later on.

Damn, look what AUTOSOL can do! The frets are gleaming, check out the stark difference between the last few unpolished frets(nearer, duller ones) and the polished ones. I shall remove the trem and clean it up too.

Now, an upgrade from the stock V8 pickups. Let's wire in the custom Has-Sound Hellion. Courtesy of Stan Hinesley.

    Viola!

The original trem arm(right) is too wobbly, unresponsive and it even swings around. It makes for horrible whammying.
I will swap it with a Schaller Trem Arm (left). It is just a couple of bucks from Davis Guitar. Hell, I would even AUTOSOL it.

Done, Schaller Arm mod is in.

I hope you are satisfied now.

The Prestige: Thank you for the much required over-haul, but I don't mind having new volume and tone knobs. They only cost around 10 bucks, or less! Black metal with Mother of Pearl!

Philmon: No! Even though I think that they'd look awesome with your finishing. But no!
